Solasta
Solasta is an exclusive luxury resort nestled in the remote beauty of the Fijian Islands. As the newest addition to a collection of resorts spanning over 20 breathtaking locations worldwide, Solasta Fiji offers discerning travellers an immersive, elevated escape - where refined design meets untouched nature. With lush tropical surroundings and crystal-clear waters, the resort is designed for those seeking privacy, serenity, and understated opulence.

About the project
As Solasta expanded to Fiji, the brand required a distinctive identity for its new resort - one that would reflect the refined essence of the Solasta name, while celebrating the unique character of its island setting. The challenge was to craft a visual system that felt both rooted in place and globally aligned with the Solasta portfolio. The identity needed to feel high-end and aspirational, while remaining minimal and versatile across brand touchpoints, from printed collateral to guest packaging.


The result
Drawing inspiration from the resort’s commitment to exploration and elegance, the final brand centres around a compass motif. This symbol nods to the spirit of travel and timeless navigation, subtly anchoring the brand in its island coordinates without being overly literal. The logomark is paired with a bespoke serif wordmark and a palette of sun-warmed neutrals and oceanic blues to convey calm, clarity, and sophistication.
Typography is restrained but elegant, echoing the architectural simplicity and premium service Solasta offers. The brand system is extended across luxury amenities, guest communications, and packaging, ensuring every detail enhances the guest experience from the moment of arrival.
This project served as both a visual experiment and a return to familiar territory - drawing on Kempton Studio's founder years of experience in the hospitality and travel industry to bring a refined, global lens to the design process.
